IS CASTEISM BACK IN INDIA?

The recent caste violence has shown the caste system prevailing in india in poorlight.the casteism in india is causing a handful of problems for our country. If anyone asks me if i am living in a caste free nation?my answer would definitely be a big NO.Yes it is true that casteism physically not much prevalent these days. But politics has taken undue advantage of the gap between the lower and upper caste divide.Added to this violence between people of different religions and scetarian violence thingz certainly dont look to be getting better in the future.A small incident of damaging an ambedkar statue in up(i am sorry if i am hurting feelings of certain sections of people) had itz repurcussions in neighbouring states like maharashtra, delhi etc.The prestigious train "DECCAN QUEEN" was set ablaze by some miscreants.Such immature acts can spoil the image of our country and shows our civic sense is at its lowest ebb ever.Added to this the great indian law leaves a loophole for everyone to take advantage of except the poor or aam admi in congress lingo.Even a reknowned political party like congress tried to take political mileage from catse violence by straight blaming the Up govt without trying to check the casteism prevalent due to various reasons in different parts of india.i would say these reservations for SC,ST,OBCs and numerous other sections of societies has defragmented the society.i think the phrase "Unity in diversity" can no longer be applicable. The reservations were intially introduced to provide a jumstart for the backward castes that had suffered at the hands of casteism preindependence. But thanx to our able political parties they have been able to keep this reservations on till now.And the recent move by the present govt to provide reservations for OBCs is a master plan by the present government to cling to the chair for another decade or so and i can assure you this is going to happen after all this is India where people can do anything for roti, kapada aur makhan.i think itz high time that we say no to this oppurtunistic politivs.we should never even in our dreams allow the reservation for OBCs to be implemented.i appeal to the student fraternity to take up a campaign on a large scale against it and make itz repercussions felt in parliament.
